All Iyengar classes are structured as a framework for learning the foundations of yoga, and experiencing all of it’s gifts as and when you are ready. Classes span beginners, mixed ability levels and intermediate sessions and an Over 55’s class for those who welcome a slower pace and supported practice. These classes form the backbone of our practice pathways, and run every week in person throughout school term.

We shall gather again in spring, but for now I am moving to a slower rhythm
Everything in life and nature takes its time.
It doesn’t hurry or try to fast-track.
Everything moves within its own organic rhythm and frequency.
Humans are the only ones who try to override this natural order.
We have a need for speed.
We are Impatient.
We are constantly rushing.
We forget that we are part of the same fabric of the universe, guided by the same natural laws that govern the universe.
I am focusing on the art of slowing down and it may just be one of the most important skills we can cultivate in a world that rewards speed and instant access.
You see, in yogic understanding, the direction of the mind is toward stillness, slowing the loops of thought.
In meditation and pranayama, the practice is to slow the breath and expand awareness.
In asana, the intention is to find ease within still points.
When our asana practice has become swept up in the modern trend of speed, focused on how far or how fast we can move rather than how deeply we can feel learning to slow the process and move from our natural rhythm, things often begin to unfold with more ease.
A key focus in our coming year will be Rhythms of Ease.
Expect to open into inspiring practices, inteligent teaching, expanding and aligning subtle physical and energetic shifts into the infinite potential of your being.
The bookings portal will be open for offerings as they arise.
