Every month through summer (May – October) Wildwood Yoga will host a visiting senior teacher from across the bridge to guide us in the very best of Iyengar Yoga.
The opportunity to discover yourself through asana and pranayama will, I hope, be taken to the next level by introducing us to a more in-depth study of our familiar postures with a peppering of those more challenging poses to keep us all on our toes!
These will run in addition to our normal classes and really not to be missed! And I will get to be a student with you all!
Spring boarding us into the summer series is Lizzie Biggin whom many of you know from Yoga West in Bristol. I have personally taken many classes with lizzie and feel uplifted by her joyful, humorous yet challenging approach to practice.
Lizzie has a fantastic knowledge of props and supports to enable contentment ( santosha) in every pose for everyone. A fizz bomb of pink magic she moves around the class dealing with everyone’s individual needs whilst maintaining complete focus of all the students.
Lizzie also brings the gift of chanting and sets the tone for our practice with a most harmonious sounding vibration that connects us all. I am honoured that in her full timetable she has agreed to find an evening to guide us here in the Forest at the end of May.
